i have been sending tamra emails all morning that our weather is icy/mushy/snowy mess and maybe she shouldn't come today to get angel.
she just called and she's almost here .
that woman & her 4 wheel drive thinks she can go anywhere .
please keep her in your prayers that she makes it here and...

i want to thank you both for all the effort and help you've given me finding titus and angel a home to go to. this has been tearing me apart and you have given me so much happiness in knowing that they will have good homes.
if anything happens with either titus or angel that they don't work out in a new home PLEASE contact me!!!! hopefully i will have my life and mom in order soon and can resume some form of normalcy back in my life, whatever that may be in my future.
i know...

as you know with mom coming here, my own dogs have become a problem of where i can put them (i've been playing musical dogs all day) as mom is scared to try to walk to the bathroom or kitchen around them cuz she's afraid she'll trip .
on top of that i have angel in the mix that i've been trying to find a home for (i may have to put down jake, as it's lookin like my dogs are all...

I am still here, but not posting anywhere much. After Dad died last February Mum was coping quite well at home but then fell and broke her hip/leg and she had a 12" steel pin inserted. She didn't get on too well in a post-hospital rehab so we placed her in a care home for a while - although I was not sure she would ever gain enough mobility to be safe alone again. geez i woke up to it snowing. we have about 3 or 4 inches so far.
jose was going to bring stepping stones today and build me a walkway out front for the wheelchair this weekend...i hope it clears up...at least until we get a few more things done outside.
after jose gets the front door finished, the walkway made, then he was going to move all the boulders out front of my house and just leave the sewer rock so we will have parking again in front of the house.

when i first brought mom here one of you guys told me of a great site for bathroom rails, shower extensions etc.
well i need a to get things set up here and if anyone has a good website for that sort of thing please let me know.
also, (tamra?) i got the step that goes into my kitchen and i have a cement floor so i thought they'd make some type of freestanding handrail that someone could use in temperay places indoors. do you know of anything?

In about an hour, Albertson's will officially be GONE & Associated Fresh Market(s) will be taking their place!!! We (as employees) are excited! I have to go in later tonight (9pm) to a store-wide mtg & then start hanging tags. The store(s) closed - to the public - at 6pm & will be re-opening at 12 noon on Monday! Western Family products will be replacing the Albertson's brand. Hopefully, our new uniform T-shirts will be there - these are temporary 'til our regular...

How'd a nice girl like me get caught up in the facebook frenzy
i just joined it to keep up with my kids, neices and nephews and thought it was dumb and boring, but then my dear neice got me hooked on a game called "farmville" and i'm addicted to the darn thing trying to outwit and pass up trble.
gosh, once i conquer this game i wonder what game i'll have to start next to keep my addiction satisfied?...

does it ever end and i can just be lazy?
mom had 2 bad days so i had to go over and insure her she wasn't dying.
had to go to the dentist monday...NOT my idea of fun.
then i had to shop, check on mom, go to the bank and by the time i got home the novacaine was wearing off and pain set in. asprin wasn't helping and i was up all night in pain.
tuesday still hurting and exhausted from lack of sleep so i did try to rest and do laundry, but the pain kept me up.

a busy weekend

jerr and janelle came this weekend. it was his last weekend to hunt on his valley floor permit for ''antlerless."
they got here around 9pm as he went out scouting before he came. the farmer that gave him permission to hunt on his land has finally cut his corn so jerr found a good size herd that he planned to get out early on saturday morning to try for. he also got his steer sent off to the butcher while he was here. they've been raising these calves for about 1 1/2...

now that i'm getting over being sick yesterday i thought i'd take it easy for the day as i'm trying not to do too much yet and get sick again.
however, after playing on the computer most of the morning i got downright bored.
(mom used to say, "a bored person is a boring person." )
i came to a realization that i have forgotten how to play.

i hope these antibiotics start working soon as this sinus infection has really gotten me down. all i want to do is sleep and the night before last it went into my ear and when i got up i was walking like a drunk. luckily that has stopped.
and now my mouth is breaking out again; which makes me wonder when the dr. asked me if i had been on antibiotics when my mouth broke out if they have something to do with it.
i'm taking lots of acidophilus in hopes that will help, but i...

my new laptop died

stupid computers!
my new laptop quit working and it turns out the hard drive is going out .
luckily, i could still bring it up in "safe mode" and was able to save all of my documents and pictures this time.
and it's still under warranty so i called HP and they are sending me a new hard drive to replace it.
i also decided to buy the extended warranty as i'm not really...
