i just love to watch them out my window grow and love that they eat mosquitos!

this year they came again, but built the nest on the other side of the eve where i couldn't see it out my window and there was nothing there to really hold

however at dusk mama, papa and another bird returned and were flying around. the other bird looked a bit large to be "escape," but it was flying
weird; like it wasn't good at flying, fluttering low, always coming in with the papa bird and landing now and then down on the porch which the parents

instead they landed on the perching wire they use on my porch (an extension cord i have for the dog waters in the winter). the mama sat on that wire and just
scanned her head back and forth watching the yard for about an hour.

i guess finally she decided it was okay and returned to the nest and the feedings went on as usual.

after writing the post this morning i got to thinkin (uh-oh, here we go again).
after all of the years watching these birds i have noticed that they have a system to feed (and poo).
at feeding time the babies form a circle in the nest.

the parents come and feed the baby once, and once again.

that baby then gets up on the edge of the nest,...

interesting the way god works in my life and i think i figured out the plan (in my weird thinkin mind).
