as you all know bob doesn't come out much in the winter except to grab some food, a drink and poo every few days, but yesterday we got up to 50 degrees so
i guess he got a bit warm in his house. at midnight i looked outside and bob was curled up on his shelf sleeping and when i looked the thermometer said 42
degrees so i guess the fat lil guy had to come out of his house and cool off some. i tried to get a picture of him, but of course the minute i opened the back
door he got up to come see me. so he got a cookie and we didn't get a picture.

Maybe he was checking on YOU guys! If Fancy hadn't barked at him in a coupla days, he was probably wondering what was up!!!

If Fancy hadn't barked at him in a coupla days, he was probably wondering what was up!!!fancy has gotten much better about not barking at him with the aide of a squirt bottle and me putting plywood around so she can't see him so easily. now she just barks at him when he gets in the mood to play/torture her by climbing up the wire where she can see him and tease her. i still can't get her to stop barking at the back fence at the cats tho  .
when i went out in the frigid cold to check saralee last night bob was out which was a shock  wandering around and eating. so i gave him a doggie cookie to heat him up some.
odd that he was out in the frigid cold when he had been out to fill his belly just a couple of days before.
my animals are sure being weird this year! |

as a matter of fact he is out this morning so i just went out and gave him a doggie bisquit and some fresh water. he sure was slow climbing up the wire to his food shelf...not sure if he's just got the morning slowies, if it's winter or if he's getting old. but he's fat as a hog still and lookin good for an old man! |

I think it's only 6 more WEEKS!!!that's with a groundhog---i don't know what it happens if a raccoon sees his shadow and goes back in since i have never seen bob go back in to his house once he's started out of it...so if it ever happened; it could be a bad sign
