hmmmm---i didn't think to look at petsmart---i always forget to check out the "raccoon" isle as i'm always so busy seeing what's new to spoil the dogs with.
i took bob's old pool out this afternoon and put in the new one. this one is a couple of inches deeper, but the same diamater.
bob was very suspicious of what i was doing with his old pool and was sniffing this new one like i was trying to pull something over on him. then he decided it was okay and leaped in and grabbed my hose i was filling it with (usually i'm faster when he tries to grab the hose but this time i was watching him check out the pool and he caught me off gaurd with his quick leap).
we had a lovely (to bob) tug of war game over the hose and i got it away with no new teeth holes in it --- bob's such a jerk

i've only had one collie that likes water. which makes bath time a real joy . but destiny's mother loved water and i got a chuckle out of "loosing her" and on the search would find her in the water troughs just standing there in bliss. she also liked to put her nose into the water buckets and blow bubbles and watch them as they rose. the only one that bugged me was in the summer she'd stand with her two front feet in her water bucket---which made me clean it out more often because of the dirt she carried into it .
dogs are so weird!
