So when I went to Petsmart yesterday, they had the Humane Society People there with adoptable animals (don't worry - we are full up). One of the girls had
a CUTE German Shorthair pup asleep on her lap - luckily, I know that won't last when he is older! I mentioned that we had collies & she got all
excited. I did tell her that they DO bark & are somewhat OCD!!!

i know, but it's just not the same as going there and looking....i hate shopping, but love to shop at that store
(and destiny loves when i take her and she gets to pick out her own stuff
)
SPEAKING OF MS. DESTINY the spoiled brat...all of the dogs have adjusted to the arrangement of freedom, fancy & destiny locked in the kitchen with the dog door. jake & angel in my bedroom with the dog door...but destiny is not liking not having the run of the house ( and my bed) one little bit and is showing it by numerous rebellious ways---the worse is trying to barrel thru the gate when we go from kitchen to living room whenever anyone comes thru (she doesn't dare do that with me). poor mistreated destiny---a warm kitchen, friends to be with, access to the back yard, all the food the fat witch can eat...i told her if she doesn't straighten up i'll send her to one of "those other type homes" (methinks she doesn't beleive me.
the other day we were in the kitchen (so not like she doesn't see me) and she was playing with fancy while freedom was laid out like a lump on the floor (typical for him). destiny went over and stood over his head & when i told her to "leave him alone" she looked at me with that defiant look of hers and pawed his head to get him up...even my friend jody couldn't beleive the defiance that destiny can do. BTW; i'm hoping cutiegirl will take angel if she moves here in a month and that angel and lady (terrier ) will get along---just in case it doesn't work, keep your eyes & ears
open for someone who wants a smooth coat 3 1/2 yr old, nuetered, debarked, obedience trained, excellent house dog, can be free fed & not overeat,
SWEET-WANT TO PLEASE temperment, great with kids & other animals (except is bird chaser, oh yes and she freaks out at the blow dryer when groomed so i let
her air dry). of course must have fenced yard and allowed in the house!
she's a wonderful dog, but 5 is just too many for me right now. she's so good in the house that you could put a steak in the trash & she wouldn't touch it. my normal contract, with me willing to take her back if she doesn't work out.

Destiny & Isabel would be a "dynamic duo"!
Isabel has
the "who me?" look perfected!!! Peter just blames it on Isabel!
